_{I..I think I have an addiction... ;;

Okay, you guys know how I win a lot of those UFO Catcher / "Claw Machine" games, right? Well, the only time I ever had a chance to play them was when my gym class went bowling (every Friday) and that lasted for 2 quarters...... um.. recently, the class ended and now we don't go bowling anymore. I kinda forgot how much fun those machines could be.. and again, as you recall, I just won that small pink dog ("Winner") from the UFO in Texas, right? It brought back memories ( o w o )...
The other day, my mum took Zara to the mall to get some converse, and me and Rachel tagged along so we could have a quick trip to Newbury Comics. When we got into the mall, I remembered that they had an arcade, but my mum said it was all the way at the other end of the mall. However, we passed one right near the food court, and for some reason (call it fate) I had my wallet with me, which never happens. I saw that machine, and my eyes lit up so I asked if I could play, and my mum told me "Just until Zara and I get back from the shoe store." okay rofl. I walked up to the machine, inserted a dollar, and on the second try (a dollar gets you 2 tries) I won this huge ass bear. Still basking in my own glory, I noticed an elephant in the machine, cramped against the left wall and a messed up dog thing. I put in a $5 and won that on the 4th try, motivated only by my knowledge of Jess' love for elephants. By this time, an audience had gathered. It was a mom and her two kids -- a girl around 9 and a boy around 7 -- and they kindly traded 5's with me since my other one was new and the machine didn't accept it. I toiled away for a minute before finally winning a tail-less blue lion for Rachel, and then I asked my audience what they would like to see me win (cuz im so modest). The mum and daughter kept saying, "Go for the RedSox towel!" and I was like, lmao why would you want that. I satiated their request to GO for it, but I didn't put enough effort in to win the thing. The little boy asked for a teddybear, so I went for that but cleared out my wallet on it. They left, and my mum and Zara came back and were like, "WOAZ U WON THOZ?" I played it cool c8 and then I asked my mum for her last dollar, but I didn't win anything.

SO AFTER ALL THAT
I went to sleep last night.. but.. I couldn't stop thinking about those UFO machines and how I was so pissed off because the one in the arcade that had the 3-foot plushies was out of order... and I was thinking.... and I became aware of my addiction to those claw games... @n@; so now I don't know what to do. I felt sick this morning so I stayed home and watched literally 1.30 hours of "UFO Games" on YouTube.... and I'm gonna beg to go back to Liberty Tree today or something. ...halp?}

D: that sounds cool and scary at the same time, becasue most eople dont have a talent for those machines, i love them but mom dosen't lert me go to them. Maybe you just need to try and look for smoe other thing you're really god at to help you try and keep it under check?

heh, i walk by this one at work on my way in and out. It's a high end treasure claw game, stuff in it can be real valuable. I've put about 30 bucks in it, and so far have won: an ipod nano case, a portable mini speaker set, 3 watches, 2 sets of freshwater pearl earrings, and an original mint Susan B. Anthony coin.

it's a dollar a play, hence why it's not that much i've won.

Im addicted to those machines since i was 10..
Im pretty good with em actually~
Too bad the plushies we got in here are... i donnu, made in Russia/china... they look horrible..

Ah ye olde grabber addiction. I, and my dad, have had/got it though I wouldn't say it was as bad as this... seriously 1 and a half hours of watching them on youtube O_o thats just nuts. My advice steer clear of arcades for a little while but if you must play them, set yourself a bugget (e.g. $1 - 5) and only go for stuff your certain you can win.

my brother is awesome at those, the guards on a fairground started gping after him to se that he didn't cheat cause he won so much XD

at the arcade down in Wildwood, they had a claw machine in the boardwalk arcade (one of the 804634 LOL) and they had these HUGE (like 4ft) stuffed animals, but when it was goning to the wall to drop it in the thing, it SLAMMED against the wall and the prize fell o^o
